“I’m free, but I want to go where you go.”

 

Thankfully, he had a tank lying around, from a previously failed attempt at a pet.

 

He sat down at his sparse kitchen table, lost in thought. Without thinking too much about it, he poured one bottle into a large glass cup.

 

In the back of my mind, I kept hoping it would go away one day, but I guess not.

 

They were a dream that vanished into the night.

 

He sat down on the rock, and the rabbit jumped up to join him

 

It felt almost like I was there, trailing after her words like a dog.

 

When her eyes came into focus, the first thing they stared at was me.

 

He heard it again and then saw something that made him drop the knife and run outside.

 

“I remember I use to have spots on my back. I don't even remember when, much less why, but I don't have them anymore.”

 

"Don't you ever doubt me."
